Kupferman's painting is one of the peaks of of the 20th century, since No single painting of his stands on its own but presupposes the Kupfermanian education that the viewer has undergone so far. Every minute and every nuance is recorded, because Kupferman's viewer speaks fluently in a language he does not understand. His action is ritualistic. Kupermanian materialism takes a stand.
